Secvenţa textuală descriptivă în romanul "Maitreyi" de Mircea Eliade
Authors/Creators
Description
This article proposes an analysis of the descriptive textual sequence according to the type, the insertion modalities and the functions performed. The general premise from which we start in this approach refers to the conclusions of several linguists, including Jean – Michel Adam, who observes that “the text is a complex sequential structure made up of n sequences, homogeneous or heterogeneous”, and a sentence cannot be defined as being of a certain nature “except in the light of the double play of grammatical characteristics and of its insertion in a context” (Adam, 2005, 2009). The case study that we propose has as its support Mircea Eliade’s novel: “Maitreyi”. The selection of the novel focuses on its originality and its value maintained over time. The objectives of the present study aim both to identify the type and functions of descriptive textual sequences, and to establish the modalities and levels of structuring the description.
