Description
Oxypoda tarda Sharp (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae), a species of rove beetle new to Poland.
Oxypoda (Bessopora) tarda Sharp is recorded from Poland for the first time, based on a female specimen collected in the Biebrza National Park. Diagnostic characters of this species and its highly similar relative O. brachyptera (Stephens) are illustrated and discussed.
