Description
ABSTRACT
The artwork featured on the cover of Alianzas y Tendencias BUAP 10(39) depicts a human eye receiving a constant flow of binary numbers, symbolizing the continuous exposure of contemporary society to the digital environment. Briefly and from a multidisciplinary perspective, it addresses the relationship between visual perception, digital culture, information consumption, and the psychological and social effects of hyperconnectivity. The piece explores how art conceptualizes the tension between technological advancement and human introspection, highlighting the paradox of a society that is hyperconnected yet emotionally isolated. Finally, it discusses the value of art as a catalyst for critical reflection on the use of technology and its impact on human identity and well-being.
