Description
This article explores innovative ways of teaching English vocabulary in the context of modern educational needs. Traditional methods often focus on rote memorization, which limits learners’ ability to use new words effectively in communication. The paper highlights learner-centered approaches, such as task-based learning, gamification, digital applications, and the integration of authentic materials. Special attention is given to the role of interactive technologies, collaborative learning environments, and project-based activities that enhance retention and promote active use of vocabulary. The study concludes that combining traditional methods with innovative strategies fosters deeper lexical competence, increases learner motivation, and develops 21st-century skills necessary for language mastery
