Description
This dataset includes the input files for the numerical model used to produce the simulations presented in the paper titled "Controls of the Latitudinal Migration of the Brazil-Malvinas Confluence described on MOM6-SWA14 simulations", which was submitted to Geoscientific Model Development. To run the model (https://zenodo.org/records/17252994) using these files, ensure that most of them are placed in a directory named "INPUT/" within the working directory where the model will be executed. The following files should be located at the top level of your working directory: `data_table`, `diag_table`, `field_table`, and `input.nml`.
Additional scripts are available for downloading large datasets. and prepping the boundary and initial conditions, and other inputs for the run. You can access the ERA5 atmospheric data directly at https://doi.org/10.24381/cds.adbb2d47. Portions of the initial and boundary condition data were generated using information from the E.U. Copernicus Marine Service. You can find this data at https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00021 and https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00148. Please refer to the manuscript for additional references to other data sources.
