Description

Supporting data for Silber et al. (2026) "Observational Evidence for Wind-Driven Low-Pass Filtering of Infrasound at Short Range", GRL

This dataset contains infrasound and radiosonde measurements collected during the AtmoSense campaigns conducted at the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center (EMRTC) in Socorro, New Mexico. Two controlled-source experiments were carried out on May 8, 2024 (BB1) and October 16, 2024 (BB2), each featuring a 10-ton TNT-equivalent surface explosion recorded by a dense local network of single-sensor infrasound stations within 23 km of the source. Radiosonde soundings were collected during both campaigns to characterize atmospheric conditions up to 16–17 km altitude. The read-me.txt file describes the files included and the file types.
