From Vision to Structure: Creating a Sustainable Funding Scheme for Diamond Open Access Through Institutional Collaboration in Switzerland
Description
This poster was presented during the CRAFT-OA Conference “Crafting the Future of Diamond Open Access: Technical, Social & Political Perspectives of Scholarly Publishing” (6-8 October 2025) in Göttingen.
The poster presents an overview of the CoDOA project, its objectives and community focus.
As a collaborative and community-driven initiative of 12 Swiss institutions, CoDOA seeks to establish a national Diamond Open Access consortium to enable a long-term and sustainable consortial funding scheme for high-quality scholar-led and non-profit Diamond Open Access journals in which researchers at Swiss research institutions publish.
