Datasheet

This sheet was structured into four different tabs: 

General Analysis Sheet: Includes all the explained parameters. It is a structured spreadsheet organized into 33 columns and 2,411 rows of records. 

Visualization Type: In this tab, the visualization types extracted from the general analysis sheet were standardized. Data corresponding to the "Visualization Type" heading was separated into different columns. These data were transferred to a single column and related to their corresponding publication. From this point, harmonization and standardization of the types were carried out, with the results presented. 

Types of Data Journalism Sources: This tab standardized the types of visualizations extracted from the general analysis sheet. Data corresponding to the "Types of Data Journalism Sources" heading was separated into different columns. These data were transferred to a single column and related to their corresponding publication. From this point, harmonization and standardization of the types were carried out, with the results presented. 

Types of Fact-Checking Sources: In this tab, the types of visualizations extracted from the general analysis sheet were standardized. Data corresponding to the "Types of Fact-Checking Sources" heading was separated into different columns. These data were transferred to a single column and related to their corresponding publication. From this point, harmonization and standardization of the types were carried out, with the results presented. 

Affiliation: This tab links the 25 media outlets in the sample to their affiliations and countries. Additional data, such as whether they included a methodology page on their website, the number of team members, the number of profiles dedicated to data, and the percentage this represents of the total, were also added.
