Training Data Stewards for Life Sciences - Introduction to Data lifecycle
Description
This session introduces the concept of the data lifecycle in research, highlighting its relevance for the life sciences. Participants will revisit key Research Data Management (RDM) principles and explore the FAIR approach to data. The session will outline the roles and responsibilities of data stewards across each stage of the lifecycle. Emphasis will be placed on practical tasks, from data collection and processing to sharing and preservation. By the end, attendees will recognise how data stewards enable sustainable and reusable research data.
