THE SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE REVOLUTIONARY LINES OF THE COMMUNIST INTERNATIONAL AND HO CHI MINH

Abstract

In the course of seeking a path to national salvation for Vietnam, Hồ Chí Minh engaged with and assimilated various revolutionary ideologies from around the world, most notably Marxism–Leninism and the revolutionary line of the Communist International (Comintern). However, Hồ Chí Minh did not adopt these doctrines mechanically. Instead, he creatively applied their core revolutionary principles to the specific historical and social conditions of Vietnam. A comparative study of the revolutionary strategies of the Communist International and Hồ Chí Minh not only elucidates their shared objectives and methods of struggle but also highlights Hồ SSChí Minh’s strategic intellect and independent revolutionary thought, which played a decisive role in guiding Vietnam to success. This article delves into the similarities and differences between the two revolutionary paths, thereby underscoring Hồ Chí Minh’s revolutionary leadership and strategic wisdom.
