Description

CoralCache is an image dataset of coral skeletal cores. The dataset contains computed tomography (CT) scans and X-ray images that show density variations in coral cores in 3-D and 2-D, respectively. The dataset also contains observer interpretations of the banding patterns, indicating where observers traced the annual density bands on the images. Finally, the dataset contains output files of the derived growth rate parameters calculated from the raw images and the observer interpretations.
