Water-balance estimations for Shortandy catchment

This dataset contains the main Excel spreadsheets used to estimate the water balance of the Shortandy catchment (Burabay National Nature Park, Kazakhstan). The spreadsheets include input data, calculations, and summary results that support the analyses presented in the manuscript submitted to Environmental Research: Water. Two climate model (with two emission scenarios) are represented separately: the GFDL model and the IPSL model. Each file contains sheets with input and output estimations, volume calculations, and a summary of results. Units are explained in supplementary text document. The spreadsheets were created in Microsoft Excel 2019 without macros. These files enable reproduction of the main estimations reported in the article and may serve as a reference dataset for future hydrological and climate impact studies in Central Asia.
