FUTURAL Country Factsheet: Policies and governance mechanisms for community-led innovation in rural Spain

Based on the results of FUTURAL’s policy analysis (Lostrangio & Pazos-Vidal, 2025), this factsheet provides an overview of the FUTURAL Spanish Case Study, where two community-led innovations are being piloted.

The factsheet explores rural innovation in Spain, including the governance framework and institutional and administrative structures, as well as the policy framework within the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), Cohesion Policy, and other relevant national policies. It also highlights good practices that can inspire and guide similar initiatives across Europe.
