Description

Handout: bwSync&Share

Handout H15 of the FORTH-BW Research Data Management - Workflow

The joint project FORTH-BW (Development and Implementation of Needs-Based Research Data Management at Universities of Applied Sciences in Baden-Württemberg) of the Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences, Reutlingen University, HTWG Konstanz University of Applied Sciences, Economics and Design, Kehl University of Public Administration, Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, and Stuttgart Media University, was funded from October 2022 to September 2025 by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space with funds from the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Facility, NextGenerationEU.

The FORTH-BW research data management workflow guides users step by step through the application phase, the research phase, and the completion phase of a research project. The “Legal” section completes these three phases as a cross-cutting topic and covers the legal issues that need to be clarified during the RDM process. The workflow is supplemented by handouts that delve deeper into specific aspects of FDM, enabling researchers to find information quickly and according to their needs. The workflow is low-threshold and self-explanatory, with a clear structure using phase-specific colors. The handouts are assigned to individual process steps using uniform coding.
