The study explores how stress and anxiety have become common experiences among college students. The pressure of meeting deadlines, preparing for exams, balancing personal life, and planning for the future can create mental strain. While a certain level of stress can sometimes motivate students to stay focused, excessive or prolonged stress and anxiety often lead to difficulties in concentration, reduced memory power, low motivation, and even poor academic outcomes. Understanding how these factors influence students’ learning and performance is important, not only to highlight the challenges they face but also to encourage colleges to provide better support systems, coping strategies, and a healthier academic environment where students can develop both mentally and academically.
Key words: Anxiety, Stress, Academic Performance, cope
