Description
This paper explores the use of BIM technology for concrete quantity estimation, ordering, and automated Global Warming Potential (GWP) calculation.
A case study presents a Cemex Revit plug-in, tested and enhanced within the scope of the Horizon Europe Reincarnate project, enabling automated quantity take-off, order placement, and GWP value integration.
The solution supports logistics, reduces waste, and prepares for future Whole Life Cycle reporting, addressing gaps in BIM software that overlook material estimation during construction.
