AVAILABILITY OF CRITICAL AND STRATEGIC METALS IN BULGARIA IN THE CONTEXT OF INTERNATIONAL PRIORITIES

ABSTRACT. The raw materials considered by the European Union, the USA, and China as critical and strategic for ensuring the society sustainable development are indicated. Information accessible in the literature on the availability of critical and strategic raw materials in the Republic of Bulgaria is summarised, in particular for bismuth, vanadium, tungsten, gallium, germanium, cobalt, the platinum group metals, rare earth elements, and titanium.
