Description

We employed a spiking neural network, implemented using the EDLUT simulator, to investigate the influence of the locus coeruleus on cerebellar reversal learning. By integrating neuromodulatory signals, our model demonstrates that LC activation dynamically modulates synaptic plasticity, thereby enabling rapid cerebellar recalibration in response to unexpected sensorimotor errors.

To ensure reproducibility, a Docker image has been prepared that includes Ubuntu 20, EDLUT, Python 3.11, ROS Noetic, and all required software. After installing Docker, you can build and run this container to replicate the experiments in full. The code is written in Python and C++ and leverages the ROS framework for simulation and experimentation. Detailed installation and usage instructions are provided below.
