Description
This dataset contains experimental data supporting the manuscript "Dietary β-Glucan Dosage for Nile Tilapia Should Be Adjusted According to Temperature." Fish were fed experimental diets containing different β-glucan dosages at two water temperatures (20 °C and 27 °C). Innate immune responses (lysozyme, respiratory burst, complement activity), post-challenge survival against Aeromonas, and growth performance were evaluated. Post-challenge survival was analyzed using Kaplan–Meier survival analysis. Statistical analyses were conducted using R (version 4.2, ExpDes.pt package) and SPSS (version 21). The dataset includes four files: raw_data.xlsx, containing original (raw) measurements; clean_data.xlsx, a processed dataset ready for statistical analyses; R_analysis.txt, the R script used for ANOVA, Tukey’s test, and graphical analyses; and SPSS_KaplanMeier.sav, containing survival data in time-to-event format for Kaplan–Meier analysis. Rows in raw_data.xlsx represent the mean of four replicates per treatment, and columns correspond to experimental variables. This dataset allows replication of analyses and supports the results presented in the manuscript.
