Evaluation of Yeast Use in the Treatment of Carrot and Cauliflower Seeds

Description

This dataset contains numerical results from trials conducted to evaluate the effect of yeast treatment on carrot (Daucus carota) and cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis) seeds. Experiments were carried out in both laboratory and greenhouse settings, focusing on parameters such as germination, vigor, early seedling development, and other physiological indicators. Additionally, the dataset includes results from laboratory assays performed to determine the production of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) by the yeast strains used in the seed treatments.

The data are organized in a single Excel spreadsheet (Data_yeast_seeds.xlsx) with separate sheets for each experimental condition:

  • Data Cauliflower Lab test
  • DATA CAULIFLOWER GREENHOUSE
  • DATA CARROT LABORATORY TESTS
  • DATA IAA TRIALS

All sheets include clearly labeled variables with descriptive column names written in full. Data were collected during the 2024 growing season in Chapecó, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Access to the dataset is temporarily restricted and will be made public upon publication of the associated article, currently under review at Discover Plants.
