Description

In this work we report the first fabrication of porous geopolymer–hydroxyapatite (GH) scaffolds via a spherical bead–assembly approach. The resulting composite represents a new class of materials that integrate a tailored calcium-phosphate composition of spherical beads with mould–based arrangement process.

The data of rheology, thermomechanical and thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, SEM -EDX, mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP), micro-computed tomography and mechanical properties. The biological responses aligned closely with the microstructure and surface topography are also published.
