A Case of Chronic Warts Treated with Individualized Homeopathy

Description

Warts are benign epithelial proliferations of viral origin, most commonly caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They can appear on any part of the body, often persisting for months or years, and may recur despite conventional treatments such as cryotherapy or cauterization. Homeopathy approaches such cases holistically, addressing not only the local lesions but also the underlying susceptibility and constitutional make-up of the patient.

In this case study, a patient with multiple warts, including a large intranasal lesion, presented with a history of skin complaints after suppression. Over a period of seven months, the lesions gradually regressed and cleared completely, with no recurrence during follow-up.

This paper highlights the importance of individualized homeopathic prescribing, miasmatic evaluation, and follow-up-based remedy selection in chronic viral skin conditions at Dr Batra’s
