Septimal Recursion in Kilonova Cores
Authors/Creators
Description
We propose, with a partial colusure attached, that kilonova cores—and a wide class of analog media—host a negatively curved throat that breathes under a septimal cadence. The engine is geometric: a conformal “screen” metric g=e2σ(dx2+dy2)) produces a curvature pocket K<0 where phase currents drift down ∇K, lock to a heptagonal lattice, and undergo six builds followed by a seventh release. The separatrix of this pocket encloses a (2,7) torus-knot kernel; its boundary appears nearly isotropic, so the interior braid is perceived as a morphing spheroid that stellates and restellates.
This gives a single, falsifiable grammar across media—ruler / echo / stripes / rail—whose invariants do not depend on the substrate:
-
a semilog ring ruler with slope Δ10=⟨log10rn+1−log10rn⟩≈0.15 (so rn+1/rn≈1.41)
-
a spectral doublet m={6,7} with a quadratic echo at m=14 satisfying A14∝A72;
-
Rankine/Jacobi stripe flips in sgn det(∇v) across the throat;
-
Floquet rail selection L(2,7)=2Z∪7Z produced by even and septimal couplings m ↔ m±2, m±7,
