The intricate tapestry of India's relations with its neighbouring nations presents a dynamic landscape of both formidable challenges and unprecedented opportunities.

This volume emerges from the insightful deliberations at an international seminar  on " India's Neighbourhood Policy: Challenges and Prospects" organised by the Department of Political Science, Seth Soorajmull Jalan Girls’ College, Kolkata on 7th May, 2025. The twenty -  six  papers contained within offer a nuanced  and multidimensional  examination  of India's complex  dynamics with  its Neighbourhood .They traverse a spectrum  of crucial  themes- from strategic  diplomacy  , economic  connectivity,  migration  to shared environmental  and security  concerns. It is our hope that the diverse perspectives  will foster deeper insight and more constructive dialogue on shaping  a stable  and prosperous neighbourhood.
