Code underlying the publication "Analysis and Systematic Discretization of a Fokker–Planck Equation with Lorentz Force"

Description

This folder contains the code accompanying the article "Analysis and Systematic Discretization of a Fokker–Planck Equation with LorentzForce" (https://doi.org/10.1515/cmam-2025-0061).

To run the code, first download all files. In the subfolder "Convergence_test" the file "test_convergence.m" can be run to reproduce the results in Table 1. In the subfloder "Physical example" the file "test_physical.m" can be run to reproduce the results in Figure 2.

For windows users it might be necessary to change the forward slash on line 5 in these files to a backslash.
