Introduction to GEDI Biomass inference and OBIWAN Biomass Change reporting

OBIWAN API uses statistics, models, and lidar measurements developed by NASA's GEDI mission to support entity-scale reporting of forest biomass change.  Background for GEDI and OBIWAN was presented at the University of Alabama Huntsville on 29 Augus, 2025 as part of a hand-off of technology developed under NASA's SERVIR program.  Available here are recordings of both an introductory presentation and a hands-on tutorial of the API, based around a colab (python) notebook.  That notebook covers OBIWAN applications in the state of Alabama and can be found here:
