CONTRIBUTION OF BPI–BSPA–BNTU SCIENTISTS AND GRADUATES TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL BASE OF AGRICULTURE IN BELARUS

Description
The article shows the contribution of scientists and graduates of the largest higher
technical educational institution in Belarus to the mechanization of agriculture and strengthening of
its technical base. Special attention is paid to the activities of scientists and graduates of the
automobile and tractor faculty of the of Byelorussian Polytechnical Institute – the Belarusian State
Polytechnical Academy - the Belarusian National Technical University (BPI–BSPA–BNTU). The
article highlights the important role of academician Mikhail Severnev, a prominent scientist and
science organizer, participant of the Great Patriotic War, in rural industrialization and development
of the agro-industrial complex of Belarus.
