The World Data System (WDS) Policy Series reviews country-specific policies related to the governance of scientific data repositories at the national level. Documenting these policies comprehensively is critical to fostering global collaborations and advancing science for the common good.
This webinar explored regional Open Science policies specific to data repositories while fostering international collaboration to address unique challenges and opportunities in Latin America. It featured insights from leading experts, including Isabel Abedrapo (Chile) and Liz Bettina García Márquez (Paraguay), and moderated by Andrea Mora Campos (Costa Rica). The webinar aimed to inspire partnerships and develop actionable guidelines tailored to regional needs.
