3D/4D nanotechnology (3D printing) with "unipotent stem cells" as a new approach for treating cancer.

Abstract

The medical community has noted a daily rise in the incidence and prevalence of various pulmonary diseases, including both acute and chronic conditions. Additionally, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of cancer patients over the past 20 years. This trend is concerning and not a positive sign for humanity. In this research, we propose an advanced nanotechnological strategy that synergistically integrates three-dimensional (3D) and four-dimensional (4D) printing technologies with the utilization of unipotent stem cells. This novel approach aims to facilitate precise, personalized regenerative therapies and targeted oncological treatments, offering a potentially transformative and clinically applicable modality for managing malignant pulmonary tumors such as lung carcinoma. By harnessing the capabilities of nanomaterials and bio-fabrication techniques, this methodology could enhance the efficacy of reconstructive and immunomodulatory interventions, thereby representing a significant advancement in thoracic oncology and regenerative medicine.
