Cybersecurity in the Textile Sector
Description
This article presents a systematic literature review on cybersecurity in the textile sector, with specific focus on the implementation of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) policies and firewall management as proactive protection mechanisms. The research analyzes practical experience in industrial environments with high data traffic, identifying specific vulnerabilities in the textile sector and proposing security frameworks adapted to the operational needs of the industry. Through analysis of
international case studies and established frameworks such as NIST SP 800-82r3 and IEC 62443 , this work contributes to understanding cybersecurity best practices in textile operational technology (OT) environments. Results indicate that IT/OT
convergence in the textile sector presents unique challenges requiring specific security approaches, particularly in centralized policy management and perimeter protection through industrial firewalls.
