Asteroid Spectral Variability Optimization
Authors/Creators
Description
Asteroid spectral variations reflect the dynamic evolution of asteroid surface materials over time, space, and external conditions. Based on this phenomenon, this paper proposes a novel heuristic optimization algorithm, called "Asteroid Spectral Variability Optimization (ASVO)." By simulating the effects of spatial weathering, rotational perturbations, impact renormalization, and environmental sensitivity on asteroid spectra, the algorithm combines three unique mechanisms: multi-band coupling, mutation-recovery, and period-decay adaptive control, to achieve a dynamic balance between global search and local exploitation. This paper systematically describes the algorithm's mathematical model, mechanism design, and process, providing a new optimization tool for complex, multi-modal, and dynamic optimization problems.
