Supplementary Material for the paper, `CO2 Condensation and Sublimation on a Range of Substrates Under Simulated Mars Conditions', including `Supplementary Information', `Supplementary Video 1' and `Supplementary Video 2'
Supplementary Video 1: Fine_clip2.mp4 shows a plume of fine MMS regolith simulant when a 2x2 inch heater was activated just below the surface.
Supplementary Video 2: Coarse_clip.mp4 shows coarser particulates mobilizing just above a 2x2 inch heater which has been activated. Note the coarse grains do not move as far above the surface as the fine grains, and that the fine grains cover more of the surface area surrounding the heater after activation.
Supplementary Material: MDAP2_supplementary.pdf presents measurements of the regolith simulants used in our experiments made with the Keyence VHX-X1 microscope.
