Description

Abstract:

A 66 year old known hypertensive and stroke patient presented with sudden onset of tachycardia and  ECG  revealed Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation (AF). Echocardiography revealed structurally normal heart with no intracardiac thrombi or spontaneous echo contrast. The arrhythmia was refractory to Diltiazem and  amiodarone and  it was reverted to sinus rhythm by intravenous calcium gluconate.
