Tephritis hyoscyami

Description

Tephritis hyoscyami (Linnaeus, 1758) (Fig. 6)

Material. Russia: Kabardino-Balkar Republic, Elbrus district, Cheget mountain (2 150 m), reared from Carduus sp. 25.07.2014 ― 28– 30.07.2014, 2 ♂, 5 ♀ (D. Evstigneev leg.).

Distribution. Austria, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Turkey, Ukraine (Korneyev, 2016b).

Host plants. Carduus crispus L., C. defloratus L., C. personata (L.) Jacq., C. acanthoides L., C. hamulosus Ehrh. (Korneyev, 2016b).
