Genus Aikahika gen. nov.

Type species: Aikahika veta gen. et sp. nov.
Diagnosis: As for the type species.
Etymology: Aikāhika is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘lasting for only a day’, referring to the short adult lifespan of mayflies.
