“The Way of the Cross: Christ collapses under the weight of the cross" is a recording from the partially destroyed Transfiguration Cathedral in Odessa, Ukraine. The image was taken in September 2023 and impressively shows the urgency of photographic documentation of cultural heritage. It was created as part of the “Documenting Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Project – Photographic Documentation of War-Threatened Buildings in Ukraine”.
