Description

Pneumia palustris (Meigen, 1804)

Material examined. Georgia, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, Krikhula River near Kvemo Krikhi, 631 m a.s.l., 42°29´57.8´´N 43°10´32.5´´E, 18.IX.2018, 1 male (NMPC, Inv. No. 24867).

Distribution. Species widespread in Europe and Turkey (Ježek & Hájek, 2007; Oboňa & Ježek, 2014), known from Abkhazia (Ježek, 2004b; Ježek & Hájek, 2007). First record for Georgia territory other than Abkhazia.
