Description

This preprint proposes a structural typology of quantum fields in response to the ontological ambiguity that pervades quantum field theory (QFT). Moving beyond monolithic metaphysical interpretations, it introduces a threefold framework distinguishing interaction fields, projection fields, and actualization fields. This layered model clarifies the multifaceted roles played by fields in mediating interactions, structuring regimes, and generating spacetime. The paper offers philosophical insights on vacuum ontology, symmetry, and the emergence of geometry, aligning with recent advances in structural realism and quantum gravity.

Notes

This article is currently under review for journal publication. It proposes a typological framework clarifying the functional and ontological roles of quantum fields, with potential applications to gauge theories, vacuum structure, and quantum gravity. This version is a public preprint made available to encourage scholarly feedback and increase accessibility.
