Description
Colona poilanei Gagnepain (1943: 68).
Type (lectotype, designated here):— VIETNAM. Hoa Binh: Cho bo, 01 September 1926, Poilane 13071 (P! [P04698922]; isolectotype P! [P06708247], [P06708248]).
In the protologue, the specimen Poilane 13071 is cited as type, without specifying the reference herbarium. Analysing the original collection, tree duplicates of Poilane 13071 were found in P. Therefore, following Art. 9.3 of the ICN, is designate here the specimen P04698922 as a lectotype of Colona poilanei, by choosing the best-preserved and complete specimen.
