BECOMING A DIGITAL ROLE MODEL: IMPROVING THE DISCIPLINE OF EMPLOYEES OF THE KLASAMAN KOTA SORONG CITY HEALTH CENTER THROUGH FINGER PRINT ATTENDANCE

Discipline is one of the most important things in improving employee performance. In the era of globalization like today, the technology used in the employee attendance process is the Finger Print attendance machine. This machine is known to be very accurate when it comes to writing down the punctuality of employees. At the Klasaman Health Center, this machine has been used since 2016. However, there are still employees of the Klasaman Health Center who are not present on time. With a qualitative method, this study is aimed at finding out the level of discipline of employees of the Sorong City Klasaman Health Center, what are the obstacles faced by the Finger Print Operator in improving the example of Finger Print attendance at the Sorong City Klasaman Health Center, and also the efforts made in overcoming these obstacles. The results obtained are that the discipline of Klasaman Health Center employees needs to be improved again, with the obstacles faced by Finger Print Operators , namely the lack of practicality of the data input process, and also expect applications or software that make the data input process easier as an effort.
