Lecture about digital image, oriented to bioimaging and microscopy. The lecture was prepared for the 2025 Curso de Fundamentos de Microscopia Optica. The lecture was delivered in Spanish although the presenter notes are in English. The lecture lasted approximately 40 minutes. The learning outcomes include: Understand how digital images represent information; Be aware of how light intensity information is digitalized; Bridge concepts between optical and digital resolution.
