The roles of RDF (Resource Description Framework) and OWL (Web Ontology Language) in semantic web and knowledge representation.
Description
This basic presentation illustrates, through a simple example, the common points and basic differences between RDF and OWL. Both are W3C standards for modeling data on the web: RDF offers a graph-based way to describe resources, while OWL extends it with richer vocabulary and reasoning. The goal is to highlight these contrasts and overlaps in practice.
