Cucumber Disease and Freshness Classification Dataset – Curated Annotations

This dataset contains manually annotated images of cucumber leaves and fruits affected by various diseases, as well as fresh samples, to support research in plant disease detection and classification.  It is based on the original “Cucumber Disease Recognition Dataset" available on Kaggle, but has been fully annotated using Label Studio to provide a standardized labeling structure for each class.

The dataset is suitable for training and evaluating deep learning models in image classification, plant pathology, and computer vision tasks.

Classes

The dataset is divided into the following 7 categories:

• Anthracnose: Fungal disease causing dark lesions on leaves/fruit.
• Bacterial Wilt: Bacterial infection leading to leaf wilting.
• Belly Rot: Rot affecting the lower part of the fruit.
• Downy Mildew: Fungal-like disease causing yellow/brown patches.
• Fresh Cucumber: Healthy cucumber fruits.
• Fresh Leaf: Healthy cucumber leaves.
• Pythium Fruit Rot: Rot caused by Pythium spp. fungi.

Dataset Structure

The dataset is organized into separate folders for each class. Each image has been labeled and verified manually using Label Studio.
