Resume. The digestive system is a complex digestive conveyor, the coordinated work of which largely determines the condition of the whole organism. Despite the clearly expressed anatomical and physiological division of the digestive tract into sections, the digestive process is a single, holistic, there are close relationships between the activities of individual organs. Disorder of the functions of one of the sections of the digestive tract can lead to dysfunction of other organs. This article is devoted to the morphological features of the large intestine.
