iCARE4CVD - Deliverable 2.1 Federated Data analysis Architecture – Part 1

Description

This deliverable focuses on reporting on the Federated Data Infrastructure for iCARE4CVD. The deliverable reports on the work performed within the first six months of the project. In this document we describe the three-layered architecture. We describe each layer in terms of components and how they connect to one another. In particular, we explain the 3 layers in terms of the three main components: the Cohort Explorer – a tool for exploring and mapping the data into the iCARE4CVD platform; the blockchain monitoring – a tool to enable data owners to manage their own cohorts; and data clean rooms – offered by the Decentriq platform where the data are stored under the control of data owners and are analysed by researchers in respect to data sharing agreements.

This deliverable will be updated as further developments and updates are performed in the platform, however, in this document we also highlight the overall vision for the platform and distinguish between the implemented parts and those that are to be further developed as the project continues.
