Focus Group Protocol for Evaluating a Generative AI-Enhanced Knowledge Management Framework (GAKMF)

This document presents the focus group protocol developed for the master's dissertation titled “The Impact of Generative AI on Knowledge Management Processes within Organizations” at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). The primary objective of the focus group was to validate and evaluate the Generative AI-Enhanced Knowledge Management Framework (GAKMF), a design artifact created using the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology.

The focus group gathered feedback from experts in Knowledge Management, Information Management, Data Governance, and Artificial Intelligence. It assessed the framework’s clarity, theoretical grounding, and applicability in organizational contexts. The document includes the session structure, discussion agenda, guiding questions, and the visual representation of the GAKMF.
