3D scans of the St. Gallen Globe

Description

The St. Gallen Globe is a terrestrial and celestial globe that contains a representation of the earth and the sky on the same sphere. It dates from the second half of the 16th century and is now in the National Museum in Zurich. A copy can be found in the Abbey Library of St. Gall.
This dataset contains the digital images of both the original and the copy, which form the basis for a 3-Dimensional recreation.
