Void gas molecular composition (C1-C5 hydrocarbon, CO2, and air) from the Terrebonne Basin, Walker Ridge Block 313, Site H, Expedition UT-GOM2-2
Description
This dataset contains gas composition data from void gas samples (sample code VG). Void gases were extracted using a stainless-steel puncture sampler that was pushed through the core liner shortly after the core was collected onboard the Helix Q4000. Samples were analyzed onboard the Helix Q4000 using an Inficon Fusion MicroGC chromatograph with molecular sieve, PLOT Q columns, and thermal conductivity detector. Carbon dioxide, methane, ethane, propane, butane, isobutane, and pentane were measured.
