Identity Differences and Social Exclusion: A Literary and Educational Detour
Description
Some identity differences as social constructs are addressed in this paper. And some literary writings are selected to vividly portray and comment on the dehumanising social exclusion and marginalization that follows such differences. Finally, that self and social awareness by friendship education, spirituality and storytelling can make us accept and transcend such differences for ensuring social harmony is reckoned with. All this detour on this toxic topic corroborates our intuitive as also some others’ inclusive self-reflexivity.
