 es una fábula literaria de creación original ambientada en la Amazonía ecuatoriana e inspirada respetuosamente en elementos de la cosmovisión del pueblo Shuar. La obra explora temas como la memoria, el silencio, la escucha, la comunidad y la relación entre los seres humanos y la naturaleza.

La selva no aparece únicamente como escenario, sino como una presencia viva que acompaña y transforma a quienes la habitan. A través de una narrativa simbólica y contemplativa, Kuntur encarna la figura del guardián y representa valores relacionados con la sabiduría, la vigilancia, el respeto por la naturaleza y la responsabilidad hacia el mundo que sostiene la vida.

El relato se desarrolla mediante encuentros con animales, elementos naturales y figuras simbólicas. El silencio, los árboles, el agua, el fuego y los sonidos de la selva adquieren una función narrativa y permiten explorar formas de conocimiento que no dependen únicamente de las palabras, sino también de la observación, la atención y la capacidad de escuchar.

La obra combina elementos de fábula, prosa lírica, narrativa simbólica y literatura de naturaleza. Más que presentar una trama basada en la acción, propone un recorrido contemplativo en el que los personajes aprenden a reconocer la relación entre comunidad, territorio y mundo natural.

KUNTUR, GUARDIÁN DEL CORAZÓN DE LA SELVA no reproduce relatos tradicionales ni pretende representar literalmente la cultura Shuar. Los personajes y acontecimientos pertenecen al ámbito de la ficción y utilizan elementos simbólicos para rendir homenaje literario a valores como la conexión con la selva, la sabiduría de los mayores, el respeto por la naturaleza y la fuerza de la comunidad.

 is an original literary fable set in the Ecuadorian Amazon and respectfully inspired by elements of the worldview of the Shuar people. The work explores themes of memory, silence, listening, community, and the relationship between human beings and nature.

The jungle is not presented merely as a setting, but as a living presence that accompanies and transforms those who inhabit it. Through symbolic and contemplative storytelling, Kuntur embodies the figure of a guardian and represents values associated with wisdom, vigilance, respect for nature, and responsibility toward the world that sustains life.

The narrative unfolds through encounters with animals, natural elements, and symbolic figures. Silence, trees, water, fire, and the sounds of the jungle acquire narrative significance and allow the work to explore forms of knowledge that depend not only on words, but also on observation, attention, and the ability to listen.

The work combines elements of fable, lyrical prose, symbolic narrative, and nature literature. Rather than relying primarily on conventional action, it offers a contemplative journey in which the characters gradually recognise the relationship between community, territory, and the natural world.

KUNTUR, GUARDIAN OF THE HEART OF THE JUNGLE does not reproduce traditional stories or claim to represent Shuar culture literally.
